Gma June....

Many of you have heard or seen on the news about the accident that occured on Hwy 12 on Thur night. Well Justin and Ryan's gma June was involved in it. We saw her at the hospital today, and even though the situation is horrible and she is really injured she was in "ok" spirits. She is pretty banged up though, a broken hip and leg, the opposite leg is also broken, she has a smashed hand, the other hand is broken and so is her wrist. Both eye sockets and cheek bones were also broken. She will be in the hospital for a very long time and then have to go to a rehab center because she will require 24 hour care. While we were at the hospital we learned more details about the accident, she was unaware that the other travelers were killed and today her kids and the doctor told her. She was very sad but said that she was relieved that the little girl was not hurt. We learned that they waited for an hour and a half for the ambulance and that grandma was twisted in a position that seems unreal and impossible, her femer was protruding from her leg and she lost alot of blood, we were also told that her right eye was sticking out of the socket almost 4 inches. And that her lil dog Tequlia helped comfort that scared little girl. I am sure alot of people have made their own assumtions about what happened, and someone has made bad comments about Grandma. But the reality of it is that accidents happen. Nobody could control what happened but God. Justin and I are praying for Grandma and the family of the people who died, but mostly for their daughter. Tomarrow we will see her again before we head home to Lewiston... Hopefully she will have been moved from the ICU to the medical floor so she can see Jax, she asked for him today when we saw her, but there is a restriction on visitors so she is unable to see some of her grandchildren and all of her great grandchildren. I have learned one thing for sure about her after this, she is much stronger than I am.
