Well the kids and I are home from a short weekend at my mom and dad's. I had such a good time. My mother's day started out with super yummy coffee and the perfect homemade ableskevers for breakfast, kudo's from my dad. Then we it was time to do some shopping. I spent almost 2 hours in Target getting clothes for the kids and Justin. Man I love that store, but I think that I found one I love even more. I did something for myself yesterday that I hardly ever do. I couldn't find a single shirt or pair of shorts for myself at Target, everything was either was to expensive for me or was to skimpy. ( Hello, my goodies need to stay covered ) So my stepmom suggested that we go across the street to the new Kohls. AHHHH, that place rocks. I got 5 shirts and the cutest crop pants for 30 bucks. And if you know me, I was the happest chic when I left that store. And I certainly didn't get cheap stuff either, it was all name brands. Oh so awesome, just thinking about it makes me feel happy. So after my wonderful afternoon shopping with my kids and my mom we went to Red Robin for dinner and I inhaled the largest plate of chicken parm. Oh so yummy. I think the waiter thought I was a serious pig. After dinner though the kids and I had to head home to L-town. On the way up I noticed a gas station on the Indian Reservation where gas was super cheap so I planned to fill up there on the way home. I paid 3.40 for premium fuel. I was so excited I was almost doing cartwheels in the parking lot. Jaxon slept the entire way and Aydann was content with her movie, although I did have to stop so she could "potty" on the side of the highway. I thought she was just making an excuse to get outta the car. But I was wrong, that lil trooper squated on the grass and did her thing. She was beaming with extreme joy when she was done. I was dying afraid that we were going to be ran over. But still very proud. When I got home my husband had a suprise for Aydann, he got a puppy yesterday for her, ya that will be a whole nother post. Not suppose to be part of my 'perfect' mother's day. But he did have something awesome for me, I got a mini sewing machine and a huge beautiful basket FULL of scrapbooking stuff. So it ended up being the perfect weekend, I got to see my parents and my grandpa who I have missed very much. And most of all that I got to spend quality time with my monkey's. Who I am very thankful for.
I hope everyone else had a good mother's day.....
