The LOVE Shack...

The new house is on 9th St.... I swear it looks like a total shack right now. It was really hard for me to see potential when I was instead seeing dollar signs flying out of Justin's and I's rear ends. But it does have a TON of equity in it. I am excited, nervous though. The inspection was yesterday and we already knew that gutters were a MUST before winter and before we can move in we have to clean, paint, and put in new floors. UGH. Oh, and don't forget the wall that we have to put back up that the previous owner took down to make a huge livingroom. It was the 2nd bedroom upstairs. The other rooms are downstairs and I don't want the kids to far from us. The only appliances that are left is a 1970's stove and a new dishwasher. So we get to go shopping for appliances. Yay, know anyone who is selling their, nice but cheap? I for sure am going to probably see what Big Gar has down at the store. The sellers were kind enough to leave us a HUGE piano and an old record player that is as big as my hope chest. Any grabbers? I don't want either. We found an awesome deal for flooring at Costco, so that was a huge weight lifted. Ok, my head is going to explode. I don't know where to start with the cleaning and packing here and how to organize when things are moved. I wish I could snap my fingers and it would all be done. I am very thankful that some people (the Reel's) have already offered to help us out. And I know my in laws will too. We are suppose to close on the 25th and then be outta here on the 1st.The plan is that the night before closing Justin will pick up the materials for the wall and the hardwood and then the night of closing he is going to recruit a buddy to rip up the old floors and start on the wall. Then together with Joanie (and anyother crazy people) we will PAINT our little hearts out. Let it set overnight and then put in new floors. OMG, you have to be kidding me. Someone I know who works at Home Depot in the paint dept and is watching out for opp's paint that she can make to my color specification. Discounted good quality paint, hell ya baby. You wanna know a secret on what is gonna keep my going through this nightmare..... I get my OWN scrapbook room. :) Until then, my last posting will be the last of the scrapbooking for a little bit. It almost puts a tear in my eye.

Sunday night Serenity...

I finally was able to steal a few hours to actually scrapbook some pictures. This was all I accomplished. I thought today I would have a little bit more time, who was I kidding. But I am not going to complain. We put an offer on a house last week and today we found out that they accepted it. So I have been on the phone scheduling inspections and talking to Crystal our mortgage chicca. We will close by the 25th if all goes well with the inspection and the sellers paper work. The house is owned by Fannie Mae so there is a ton of extra paper work involved and other "legalities". I'm excited and nervous, I have a ton to do, thank goodness my mother in law offered to help pack. I don't know where to even begin, we have lived here for almost 6 years...... YIKES. I will miss Justin and I's first home together, it's kind of a bitter sweet for me. I hate this apt, but my kids were born here (no Jamie, not actually in the apt) and this was the place we lived when we got married. So it has history for us. I will miss it. I guess.

Altered Clock

Kristy gave me this clock to alter and scrap up. I wanted to do the My Mind's Eye paper to match my HOME letters and my open frames that are still not done. I love this paper and wanted to keep it simple but still gaurantee that my husband will be able to (try) to actually read the time on it.

(1/2) Naked People Again...

We're back. For those of you who didn't know. We have been gone for almost a week to Couer D' Alene. My car had a little check up to go to and Justin is still on vaca. So we made a REALLY long weekend and had fun. Justin and I got to spend Saturday in Spokane doing whatever we wanted, no kids in tow.... I loved it. We went to an awesome martini bar downtown called Twigs. Yummy drinks, after I had only drank half of my strawberry lemon drop I was so giggily I didn't care anymore than it was alittle over 30.00 for 3 drinks. YIKES, but then we had a yummy lunch and Sangria's at the Olive Garden and enjoyed shopping without screaming to "get out from under the racks" We also went on the Gondola over the Spokane Falls. The Falls are very pretty, the Gondola sucked. ALOT... Most of the trip over you were above a parking lot. And Justin seemed to think that shaking the gondola would be fun. Not so. Sunday we went to the Lake for awhile and just walked around, I had fun watching Aydann play. Justin had fun watching all the half naked girls "bounce" around. :) I don't know if it's just me, but I like my hiney covered. I took lots of pictures and will post a slide show later... No they aren't of the bouncey girls. I got to visit all of my fav stores that I am deprived of here, like Kohls, Target and Williams Sonoma. I loved all of it. (Well except all the girls running around partially naked.) Right now I am headed to sleep in my bed.. And hopefully get more sleep tonight than I did all weekend.

Pink Boots-Fishing-Naked Kid !!

Below is a lil slide show of some pic's of Aydann. She was such a card today. I put her in a little sun dress today because I didn't think we were doing anything the really should have involved shorts. And she can get to the potty better without buttons and snaps. She got to go fishing with her daddy tonight. When I told her to get her shoes on I had in mind some sandles or her lil canvas shoes. NOPE not Aydann, she put's on her pink Ariats. :) So off she heads to smelly Man's Lake in her dress (that she spent most of the day twirling in) some fuzzy piggy tales and her pink boots WITH her pink and purple Cinderella fishing pole. It was an absolute sight. She did so good casting her line into the water, and of course she wasn't really fishing for anything. The little rubber fish was still attached to the end of her line. She was content realing in the line and casting out again. UNTIL. She accidentally DROPS her fishing pole right into the water. I was holding Jax and Justin's reflexes were fast enough, away it sank. And on come the croc tears. She was bawling "Daddy, my fishey rod, get my fishey rod dad!" SOBBING. I kind of had a feeling when we got there that it might happen. I mean I did it when I was little to my grandma's pole, why not Aydann too. Well Justin loaded up the end of his line with a ton of weight and started dragging the bottom of that nasty lake to see if he could catch it. After about 20 min some man who was fishing with his family ditched his shoes and shirt and (ewww gross) jumped in next to the dock. In the meantime while this stranger is trying to help Justin get Aydann's pole his little boy who is maybe 1 1/2 STRIPS NAKED and comes running over to help save Aydann's fishing pole. YIKES. His intentions were good, but put your pants on man. We don't need to be seeing your wee man. That action did unfortuantly get my daughter to stop crying. I am sure that she was confused why he had to be butt naked to help save Cinderella. Thank goodness it was just a few seconds later that the dear stranger got her pole and was able to help his kid get dressed. Oh Lordy, what a night, we didn't catch any fish. Just a Cinderella fishing pole and a sight of some naked child.

Aydann's Day!

Found and Thought

I found this quote and loved it, wanted to share with everyone....

" A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words." ~ unknown

I share quotes with my friend Michelle and I thought of her and her family when I read this...

Check out my Slide Show!

Pic's are in... fabulous!

Well everyone, there here... And I love them. I do wish it hadn't been quite as windy that day. My hair is blowing around in many of them. But Michelle did such a wonderful job. I think I will do a couple of slide shows. One tonight, and maybe one tomarrow. Gotta keep everyone on their toes and give Chell a chance to catch up on everyone's blogs since she has been computerless.

Ya, I'm happy...

Tonight I got something to smile about. My lil family went for our family pictures. Michelle Wolf a good friend of mine from high school did them. She owns Michelle Wolf Photography. (you can find her link on my page.) Anyway, we went up river past Asotin to a beautiful beach. And she took some of the most amazing photo's. I am so excited to see all of them. She did show me some teasers, and let me tell you how stinking awesome they are. When they are ready on her blog or website at the end of the week I will post so you can jump over to her website and check them out. Can you tell I'm excited. :) I can't wait to have a big beautiful print on my wall.

Long weekend...

This weekend feels like it went by so slow and yet so fast at the same time. Justin had to work all three days but worked a day shift on Fri so he could at least enjoy the fireworks with us. We started out Friday with me and the kids hanging out at home. After we had some lunch we went over to The Reel's so Kaelene and I could grocery shop for our yummy BBQ. Aydann played all day with Caiti, skipped her nap and only acted like a terd a few times. She had a blast, this was her first year getting really excited about the fireworks, after we came back from the stand with some she was freaking out, ready to play with fire... Uh Oh. So after dinner I got all the fixing together for our yummy traditional strawberry shortcake and we headed to the Hick's were Krisy and Savan were house sitting. The view of the river there is amazing and the view of the fireworks display was just as good. After the fireworks were over we had to book it to the car and away from the high school. Gratefully it only took me a few min longer to get home. :) There were people and police EVERYWHERE. Saturday we just kinda chilled. After Justin went to work Kaelene and I took all the kids to the levey for a walk, my brand new double jogger was shipped BROKEN.(a whole nother post) So I had to push Aydann in the regular stroller and pack Jax in the front pack. Let me tell you how much that sucked. When the lil girls asked to play at the park I was all for it. My back was killing me by the time I got home. But Aydann played hard and was tierd. So she was almost asleep by the time her bath was over and her jammies were on.
Well my house is finally all quiet and I just stuffed myself with toast and a bowl of cereal so I plan to lay on the couch for a little bit and hog the remote before I head to bed. Tomarrow night is suppose to be our family pictures so I have lots to do. I hear my morron neighbor lighting off more super loud booming fireworks. Again. So the quiet is gone now, didn't he get the memo. The fourth of July is over....

Loss of words....

Justin and I put an offer on a house this am that WE LOVE... it was/is perfect for our family, our needs/wants... everything. We offered a little less because it had been on the market for awhile with NO activity. Well that activity stopped right when the owners accepted an offer from SOMEONE ELSE.... ugh. We are getting pretty frustrated, that is house #6 that we loved. 3 others had offer "issues" and 2 others couldn't be FHA financed. So back to square one. Again. How many houses do we really have to look at, before we find the "one"? Justin (being negative and angry) said that we were going to just buy a single wide trailer and park it in the street and live there. Ya, I don't think so. There wouldn't be anyplace to hook up the sewer there. Unless we put it next to the dollar store and just used their potty. Ha, how white trash would that be?
