The Crazy Things She Says

I swear my daughter is full of new words and everyday she suprises me with some silly things she says. Yesterday her daddy asked her if she was a princess and in a very serious I am a big girl voice (and attitude) she tells him "Yeah, I'm a freaking princess !" Her face was to die for, even though I wasn't happy about her saying freaking. But I suppose I should be thankful she hasn't said the other.Early this morning when she woke up, I picked her up out of bed and she gave me a huge hug. I told her that was my faviorite part of my day, a big hug from my lil girl. She told me "ok, can I have my rescue pack now."(her Dora the explorer toy) and then again this morning I was in the bathroom with her trying to get her to use the potty before we were leaving. And she spouts off "Daddy said I don't have to peepee in the potty" She was so serious. I had a hard time not laughing and trying to get her to finish what we started. And then tonight after my long day, she is sitting in front of me eatting a small bowl of ice cream and she says "Mommy, I love ice cream... " And she held her arms out stretch and closed her eyes and tilted her head back while she kept mumbling love ice cream... love ice cream. Cracks me up.... Where does she come up with some of this stuff. Now I know what they mean by the silly things that kids say.

A few things...

Well I sure don't feel rested from my weekend. I guess the amount of sleep I got would explain that. But I really enjoyed the weekend retreat at the Red Lion. I got to know a couple of girls better than I had before and of course did LOT'S of pages. Well not lots, but they were some of my fav's. A couple people "scraplifted" a few of them, so it was nice to know my stuff must of been looking good. The only thing I would have changed was at breakfast I could have had my coffee just the way I like, right out of bed.
A little update on Justin. Monday was his first day back to work on "light" duty, AKA pathetic work. He worked in the saftey office laminating stuff and washing windows. Poor guy. They saw him wiping windows with his right hand and made him stop. They said it was against his work restrictions. So he called up to his surgeons office and found out that he could get in this afternoon to get his restictions lifted. So he is off tomarrow and then goes back on Thur for a regular rotation of 4 on, 4 off. He is pretty happy about that. I will miss him though, he did alot at home. I am afraid now that he is back to work he won't want to help with the dishes anymore.
Well it's back to regular life for me tomarrow.

Frustrated

Well tonight I started trying to better organize my 12x12 paper. And I have 14 piles on my dining room table of the "different" categories I thought were approriate for myself. You know, one for each of the kids, stripes, flowers ect. But I can't find a way to keep them protected and easy to transport to crops. I don't have as much as I thought I did, but I want to keep it all nice. Any suggestions. I bought a tote from Shopko that will work but I don't have a way to keep them sorted. HUGH........ What I really want are some file boxes from my paper wishes magazine. But they are 35.99 each, and I know I will need at least 3. I mean how hard can it really be. I wish I had funds that didn't end and I could pay someone to do this part for me. That would be nice.

Scrapbooking while I'm snoring

This is crazy. The last few nights I have been dreaming about my scrapbooking. I guess I am just thinking about it way to often. I thought long and hard the other night about Aydann's bday invitations. I looked through books and magazines for inspiration. Ha, came up with the neatest, cheapest idea while I was in bed. And I am almost done with them and they are super cute. Plus I think I only spent 5 bucks for 20 of them. I think that is pretty awesome if I may say so. I have also been thinking about what pic's I need to work on at retreat this weekend. AND PAPER. My husband says I am crazy and I should learn to knit or something. But I can't help it, I love making memories permanent for my children. I organized some of my memory makers magazines. I had way to many of them laying around. So I cut out some of my faviorite layouts and ideas and made myself alittle binder of insperation. Justin again said I was crazy. He words were "You are scrapbooking your scrapbook magazines?" He had the greatest face while he said it.
