Sick Princess
Well Aydann came home from Cd'A sounding kinda crappy and drooling like crazy. I thought she was getting her 2 year molars in, since she was the same way with her first ones. Well Fri night her fever spiked to almost 105 and after double doses of tylenol and motrin it still wasn't breaking. Her breathing got worse, and she sounded like a 70 year old smoker. So at 3am, her daddy said lets go. We took her to St Joes to the E.R. They did some test's and checked her over and said that she had a "lite" double ear infection and broncitis. WHAT. I couldn't believe it. First I had never heard of someone so small getting broncitis, and then I was worried about if she had been contagious and who was near her. I felt so bad, espically when they gave her a ton of drugs and a breathing treatment. The lady who did the treatment wanted to take Aydann off my lap and make her wear a mask. Um, yeah. I know my daughter, and she was scared and certainly wasn't going to let someone else take her from her mommy. Let alone make her wear some strange mask. So that was a total nightmare. By the time we got home around 6am, she was pooped out and breathing better. And her fever was down to 100. Finally some sleep for mom and dad. Yeah right, she was up and at'em by 930. She is feeling much better now. And has a follow up appt with her normal ped. I just hope she didn't get anyone sick, the dr said she was contagious when we were at gma and gpa's. I am glad though that she is better, she is milking the "I don't feel good card" with her dad though, smart kid.....

Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to everyone and their families. I hope you all are having as great of a day as I am. Christmas morning was perfect. I couldn't have asked for more. I was with my husband and daughter, and my parents. And Aydann was such an angel about opening gifts. She said thank you everytime she was given a present and her excitement was almost to much for me to handle. Makes me proud to be a mommy. The cake topper for me though was when my stepmom opened her "scrap'n on the wall" (window) and started crying cuz she loved it so much. Made me very happy. We took our time and had coffee and watched each other and enjoyed the morning. I hope everyone else has/had a good christmas morning and was with the people you love. I sure know I was. Merry Christmas.... Now back to reality, and normal nap times. :)

The Big Guy!!!!
Well Santa visited Aydann tonight, hilarious.... Dad got all dressed up in his fuzzy red suit and while Justin distracted Aydann downstairs he went out through the garage door and came to the front and rang the doorbell. We let Aydann answer. She goes "Oh, um it's Santa!" I just laughed, she ran to her dad though because she was very unsure of what was going on. So Justin held on to her while Santa handed out some "traditional" gifts and gave Aydann her Santa gift and her stocking. (Her gma got her so much she had to split the dang thing up... funny grandma's) Aydann kept her distance, but told Santa thank you everytime he gave her something, she did tell him I Love You Santa and gave him a hug but certainly would not sit on his lap for pictures. Bummer for my scrapbook, but oh well. It was pretty sweet anyway. I hope next year she isn't leery of him. But the good news was, she didn't even blink to think it was her papa. Nice disguise Dad... :) I put the video on my myspace page if anyone wants to check it out.

Home for the Holidays
Well I am home for Christmas... YEAHHHHH, I love coming home to my Dad's. I always have so much fun with my step mom and Aydann get's spoiled rotten, so she loves it too. And Dez always put's the warm sheets on my bed, and I swear she washes them with extra downy just for my. I LOVE IT. Justin was suppose to work both Christmas Eve and Christmas day this year, so we thought we would have a "weird" christmas this year. But since the ding dong chopped off part of his finger at work he is with us. And for that I am very thankful. Aydann is so excited about Santa and the pretty lights I was sad for him to miss a second of it. So a bit of his finger was sacrificed I guess for christmas with his family. (I am still thanking God it was only a finger tip) So today we are baking Santa cookies so when the big guy visits tomarrow Aydann can leave him a special treat, personaly I think he needs a salad and a Starbucks. But you know, tradition. Later Justin is taking Aydann out to pull her around in the snow on her new sled that grandma Dez got her. I think she'll either scream or love it. We'll see. Tomarrow night "Santa" aka Papa is getting all dressed up to come and visit Aydann and bring her a present. I can't wait. I hope that the smart lil girl doesn't figure out who it really is. And of course I am hoping for some good photo opps. Since this bad mommy didn't take her yet to see the big guy at the mall. Opps.... Quick update on Justin's accident, the doc said there is more muscle damage to his hand and finger than expected and he needs 30 days of physical therapy and can't return to work until the middle of January. By then I am sure I will be sick of him being home all the time.
