Who turned on the water?

We had planned in January that this weekend we would be doing our egressed window in the basement and starting on the shop roof. Well in January we didn't think that the last weekend in March would have the crappest weather EVER!!! My parents came down from Cd'A, Ryan and my B.I.L Nate planned on being over, we got the tractor and the concrete saw. And the rain came along with everthing and everyone. And it didn't stop. Thank goodness for some troopers who endured it. Justin dug out the ground for the window at the beginning of the week and there was a huge pile of dirt (that turned to mud!) next to two pallets of our roofing. We wanted to take the chimeny down because it served no purpose and it was built improper. You could push on it and it would move. Totally safe don't you think. So the "tractor boys" tied some rope around the top and the other end to the tractor. I think this was their favorite part of the entire day. Of course they did things the absolute safe way, Nate on the roof to 'guide' the chimeny so it doesn't take out our Avista line. Wouldn't you love to know what that would cost to replace/fix? The chimeny came down in one tiny little tug and made the entire house shake. Scared the crap out of Jax though.

Who's cleaning up this mess? Hmmm not me! I was surprise to see what a mess it made. But Dad and Justin said that it wasn't heavy to move just bulky and akward. I sure am glad to see it gone though, personally I thought it was ugly...
This massive hole in our basement is our new window, I haven't taken a picture of the window actually in yet. I will. I was pretty suprise how much light the new window allowed in the family room. I can't (actually I can) wait for the egress in my scrapbook room. Justin and I are discussing not doing the well and doing landscap blocks instead since the hole is bigger than thought and it does face the driveway. Blocks would be much prettier.
Justin and Ryan spent all day Saturday and most of Sunday doing the roof on the shop. They had to scrap all the old roof'n off since there was 3 layers already. Who ever did work on our house before was kinda lazy. They did things totally half @**. We discovered we have several layers of siding also. So Justin is going to start ripping off that ugly yellow crappy stuff off. If you think our house looks different it does, but not by our choices. All of our new windows are in except one small basement one. I'm excited for the mess to be cleaned up and everything to be done. Justin was sent up on the shop roof to take pictures of what was finished, and him and Ryan got alittle carried away. BIG SUPRISE... so here is a little 'treat' for everyone. Warning, it could make you laught till you pee or throw up a little. :) Justin claims they could start a buisness, he even came up with a really lame title for it. I am not sharing with you what it was though, totally not PG13......

Justin: Ya, I'm talking to you big Daddy!!!!!

Ryan: Who Me?......

Reward: Missing heart that jumped from my chest!!!

Today started out so early... but it was good, Justin made me coffee then went to the gym real early. I stayed at home planning our Fri. Chell texted me and asked if we wanted to lunch date with our kiddo's at McDonalds. Of course we would go, Ayd loves any chance to play with her cousins. So we got there a few minutes before Michelle and the girls, I let Ayd go and play while I ordered lunch and got situated. After all three girls sat down together to eat, Aydann inhaled her usual MckyD's lunch (ckn nuggets, apples and white milk, ketchup with her nuggets of course) Off she went to play after eatting everything but a few apples. The girls played hard for quiet awhile, when it was time to go I went over to the slide to get my daughter. I noticed her little cheeks were super flushed and her entire face was bright red. I knew she played hard, but didn't see why she looked so hot compared to the other kids who were wearing long sleeves. I naturally felt her face, which was very warm. Chell agreed that she was red and warm, but we chalked it up to her running and playing. We loaded up in the car and drove the 4 or 5 blocks home. By the time I got into the driveway to pick up Justin, Aydann had become very whiney and when I turned around to look at her I noticed her cheeks were red as ever and VERY SWOLLEN. I became concerned why my baby looked like a sudden chipmunk and asked her dad, he took one look at her hands and fingers and said we are going to the doctor RIGHT NOW. He tiny lil hands were swollen huge that if they were my fingers my wedding ring would have had to been cut off. Instantly I became worried and panic'd. I told Justin to call Chell and see what she thought we should do, of course she said what I had first thought. Call the doctor and talk to the nurse. Well of course the receptionist put me on HOLD FOREVER, I hung up and called my dearest friend who said forget calling, go straight there. They gave Aydann benedryl within minutes. She was still flushed and had developed a 'rash' on the backs of her hands. She was still breathing and talking normal. Doc pretty much said that it could have been a sudden allergic reaction to something she has had a million times and it could have been a combo of many different things. I was relieved after seeing him. We have to keep an eye out for this to ever happen again and if she get's puffy and swollen like that again she needs the benedryl right away and we are suppose to take her in. Talk about being scared to death. I seriously had to pick my heart out of my throat by the time we left the doctor.

Lil Family Update...

Things have been busy and relaxed around here. Aydann has been doing her dance class thing. She LOVES it. They started tap this last week, let me tell you how much I love those shoes in my house. :) Her recitile is May 14th but she is dancing at the Art Under the Elms in April. Today she had her first trip to the dentist. I noticed a small mark on the front of one of her bottom teeth last night when I was brushing for her (she brushes her teeth like 30 times a day, but we always do it for her before bed) well of course I kinda freaked out. But the dentist today said her teeth are beautiful, and that that spot is a defect from when it came in. Uh, why did I just notice it? So I am not worry'n, they are baby teeth and will fall out. Aydann is also offically registered for preschool. She starts in Aug, and is completely excited. But I don't think she quiet gets it yet. When the time comes we will see. She thinks that the daycare at the gym is school. Ha, she should only wish. :)
Jax is offically WALKING!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, just in time for his bday. Which is in a few weeks. I can't believe already. It kinda makes me sad. I still am not sure what to get him for his bday, boys are hard to buy for. Especially when the kids have a ton of toys already. Thank goodness he wont understand why he gets so many clothes. :) He still however has zero teeth. He is gonna be in kindergarden before they finally come in. He is saying so many words, he says Dada, Papa, Ayd, Bite, Book, MOM :), and Bob... ya, Bob. That is what he calls his binky. So weird. He waves bye-bye, flashes you the 'peace out' sign (thanks to Justin) and will show you he is number one. He already is drinking the heck out of cows milk and is mostly eatting whatever we are. And he is such a pig. I am dreading the teenage years.
Justin and I have been going to the gym (ALOT) it's become addicting. Justin is going to loss weight, I am not. I used to be the excersise queen you know. Love it. I have tried the classes there and like all of them. Thankgoodness I have some girlfriends that go with me. They did warm me about the bodypump. I didn't listen and went and pushed myself, and the next night went to bodyflow and did extra hard legs. And certainly almost died....Today I made it 22 min on the eliptical with Chell before I figured I should get off it or chance my legs giving out and me falling on my face. I choose to walk away. Barely.... Justin is down 10lbs and has way more energy than before. (that's good, he has a huge honey do list) He says he has more to go, I support him and am trying to help with his diet. BUT I am starving here. Jeez, I swear since we started going I eat 24/7... I'm hungry all the time. And I want FOOD. like pasta and pizza.... I'm going to have to start sneaking out to Dominoe's and eatting it in the parking lot. Anyone want to come with me? Maybe someone can slip me a pkg of oreo's in the mailbox. Who cares that I take milk with me to check the mail.
What's everyone else been doing? Seems like everyone is busy awaiting spring....

Say Click... Take a Pic....

I am looking for suggestions for a great point and shoot camera. I have saved up and am almost there to saving for a Canon Rebel. I used my friends and of course LOVED it. But after thinking and pondering about it I need something that I can whip out for those moments that my children and husband cease to amaze me. I am wanting something that has a good amount of megapixels but not to many. And I want at least a 4x optical zoom, video some manual settings but mostly automatic. Something that takes true color shots. I loved my old canon, but i bought it before Aydann was born so it was time to upgrade. Justin got me a Samsung for my bday in december. It is a 10mp with a 6x zoom. BUT the pictures are grainy and the color is so off from what the natural color is. And if your hand is anywhere near the flash it leaves the weirdest streak across your pic. Another option that I would love it to have as close to a continous shot as possible. I have missed alot of good moments because that Samsung hesitates sooooo bad. So I am taking opinions and suggestions. I was something amazing but not to overly priced. Help me out, I am getting slightly sick of researching this stuff.

Save your tata's!! No wait Save your computer!!

I have a little warning for all. Maybe I am overly anxious about this, but oh well. This last weekend Justin's lil cuz was on the computer on a totally ok website. She was creating 'paper dolls' with Aydann. Well a fake antivirus warning came up that our protection was off, and it appeared like it was a microsoft warning. ( I googled it after it was on the computer ) So Ash clicked the ok button and went about her buisness. Nothing wrong. Well actually it is a virus that was just released the end of Feb and it's a freaking hacker scam. It takes a near miracle to get it off your computer and it claims that all your information is being hacked and you need to 'buy' their program to stop it. Grrrrr... don't these damn hackers have anything better to do, get a favorite t.v. show. I know someone that could reccomend many season's of One Tree Hill, I hear it's addicting. Watch that instead of creating crap to ruin peoples computers and steal there stuff. I have been dying to balance my checkbook but sure as heck wasn't going to log onto there. So hopefully now it's all gone, and you won't open that scam'n virus file if it happens upon you. Ah, and now I feel a little better for venting about this. I have been pretty mad about it.

Whatta Daddy !!!!

Now this is a good Daddy... Aydann drug out her tote of dress up clothes, and poor Justin ended up being the one all dressed. Notice she gave him two purses, a baby a princess wand, and a head scarf. I had to bribe him to take these pictures (I have more), and he cursed me the whole time. :) I can't wait to scrap them.. ha.. :) His dress was a bit small so it kinda became a shawl. Don't you love the old lady print. So gross.. :) Aydann sat next to her daddy and read ABC books to him for almost an hour. To bad in this pic you can't see the ugly white gma high heals she had put on him. (He is gonna kill me if he see's this.. :) )

This weekend...

This weekend started with Justin going to work, (blah) I downloaded some new songs to my Itunes... Sorry to say I am really digging some of the new PussyCat Dolls stuff and I have noticed I have a fair amount of Justin Timberlake.
All that Itunes music has come in handy for going to the gym. I went by myself on Sat a.m. Generally I go with someone else, but I don't want to socilize or visit. I put my earbuds in and rock out while I try to die from lack of oxygen. The kids like the daycare, Jax cried the first couple of times. But he is just fine now, since there is a pretty young brunette that is there sometimes. :) Such a womanizer.

Of course any day wouldn't be functional or even normal for that matter if I didn't have my coffee. We got smart and just started buying the big container from Costco.

Of course since we have a billion projects going on it wouldn't be normal with out a trip to the old home depot. Justin and I discussed putting bead board and a chair rail in the kitchen so off we went to choose and price. I'm excited and since this is one of the smaller projects I am hoping that he will get it done soon. I'm thinking next four days off. :) We are doing the first egress window the weekend of March 21 and then our roof begin's the following weekend. Amen. I am so excited for the final outcome. It will certainly seem like a whole new house.

Yesterday while Jax was sleeping and Justin was at work Aydann and I went outside, she trucked around the yard and driveway in her Barbie Jeep while I cleaned out some plants from the flower beds that I don't care to keep. The woman that lived her before must have LOVED bulbs. There are hundreds of them all over the place. Some will stay, some will be moved. I have no idea where to start. Of course it won't happen till they are done with the siding and roof. What would even be the point.

Last night while Justin watched T.V and the kids were in bed I spent some time in my scrapbook room, I got some new flowers at Micheals this week. They were in the bridal section, I can't stop using them. They came in pails of different colors. Next trip to Micheal's I will get another pail. They were cheap and are pretty awesome.
These pic's are OLD, my very first Mother's Day when Aydann was only 12 weeks old. And my paper is from that Costco pack everyone got for real cheap.

Today ended with a visit from some cute new guy. :) This picture is from yesterday when he was here. This is Mr. Brayden Coy... he is so darling. Aydann thought he was 'super cute' and Jax was mesmorized by him. Courious to know who he was and why his mommy was being all snuggley with him. Next to Jax, Brady seems tiny, and Jax seems so big. But when Aydann was holding him you could see his true size. So weird. :) I get to watch him a bit after his mommy goes back to work when gma is on her rotating shift. :) Justin is thankful, he thinks that will kill the instant buzz I got to have another baby. Uh Oh!!!!!!!! (not going to happen, just the mommy hormones)
Speaking of Jax, he took a several steps the other night without holding on to anyone or thing. He thought no one was watching him, and bam sat down as soon as his dad caught him. :) He has been walking more today without help. So I imagine it just being a few short weeks before he is really trucking it around here. Lord Help Me! And I now know what they mean when it's referred to as being eatten out of house and home. Holy Cow... Last night for dinner he ate 7 turkey sticks (the gerber ones) 4 oz of carrots with rice cereal, a 1/2 can of mand. oranges, some gold fish crackers (whole grain of course) and then finished it up with some cow's milk. But then procedded to search under his high chair for 'left overs' And about an hour later he was very eagger to nurse. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I thought I had a few years before this happened.

My Room, A Party, New Baby!!!!

This is my lil space, actually it isn't to horribly small. I have a room off of the family room in the basement. It's still very much so unfinished, I am painting the third brown wall today the fourth wall won't be done until next month after the new egress window goes in. And then that wall is PINK!!!! I know, awesome huh. :) I have to decide if I want carpet or hardwood in here, and I can not make up my mind. If I choose carpet it wont be done till this summer when the family room get's carpet. I am thinking mess wise that hardwood would be smart. I have another table in my room in case I have anyone cropping with me, right now it's piled with other stuff and unfinished projects. Everything has it's place and it makes for easy scrapbooking. And the best part is that my husband doesn't complain about the mess. He just shuts the door but that however leads to the fact that he can see my twilight poster on the door.. Ha, :) (ya, I'm that lame.)
