Sleeping on the potty

Aydann would kill me if she were older and she knew I was going to tell everyone this story. Last night the silliest thing ever happened. I for one do not favor getting up in the middle of the night, but at almost 4am this morning I heard Aydann crying in her bed. So I got up and went into her room and picked her up and was going to bring her back to bed with her dad and I. Well she tells me that she has to go potty. ( we have really been working on the potty thing and she is doing pretty awesome, We are over a week now with no messy pants... :) ) Shocked I was like ok I guess we will go, so I take her into the bathroom (thank god for a nightlite) and help her on to the potty. Well she did her thing and just tinkled a little bit, so I asked her if she was done. Sleepily she said no and stayed sitting there. Well she started acting like she was going to make her business but she really only had some bad gas, still she just sat there convinced she was going to "go". But while she was sitting there she tipped her head down toward her chest, AND FELL ASLEEP. I know, I was cracking up. I wanted so bad to go grab her dad or my camera but I didn't want to leave her in the bathroom in fear that she would fall off the potty. So that "milestone" won't be scrapbooked, but it sure was funny for me. And of course first thing this morning I had to call both of her grandma's to tell them. And they both laughed, not as hard as her dad though. I was really suprised that she woke herself up like that, but maybe that is just another sign that my lil girl is not a baby.
