Day full of....

Today I went on a lil scrapbook retreat with some of the girls. I was only able to stay for the day. Justin is on graveyard tonight and my in laws were having a halloween party. So it was come home or make the kiddo's fend for themselves. Someone had to feed them. :) The drive to Ferdiand was amazing, it was misty and had just stopped raining but the colors on all the tree's, my music cranked up, and some yummy coffee made the trip rejuvenating almost. When I got to Eloise's the girls were already cropping away. It was nice to get away from my husband and kids and just be with some friends. I posted up a few layout's I was in awe of how much I actually got done in a short amount of time. (Guess it's cuz I have alot of "white space" ;) :) ) I wish I could have stayed longer, but you know... someone has to be in charge around here.
This layout was fun... not only did the thought of Ketchup make Chell want to gag, but I was able to whip it out pretty fast. I really like the finished product. I haven't journaled on it yet, haven't decided how I want to do it yet, but we were in Arby's with my parents and my lil punkin thinks ketchup is it's own vegetable.

This layout went by quickly, I did two pretty much the exact same. I flipped the other L.O so the pic was on the opposite side. One for each kid. I now know why mommies with twins do their albums the same. Goes by much faster. Much less thinking involved.

Ok, I really LOVE the way this came out. I am in love with the cranberry red's and BLING. And of course the chipboard. Wouldn't be an album by Amanda if it wasn't full of CHIPBOARD.. And Bling circles.. Everywhere, but especially on the picture. I did 4 or 5 layouts today that all had some 'framing' on the pic. Love it...
