For Father's Day I got Justin and his Dad tickets for airplane rides that the NP Sheriff Air Possee were doing at the airport. They flew up/over and around the valley, it was about a 30-35 min ride. But Justin loved it. He has talked about wanting to learn to fly, but obviously has never gotten the opportunity. I thought this was the perfect thing to do for him. I was right, he was grinning the entire time like a little kid. I just wish my dad could have been here to go as well. Mr Gary Hicks was there as well, probably wondering how he could get one of those lil airplanes home with him. We came home after checking out all the little puddle jumpers and I got everything together to BBQ. So my family is full of homemade grilled burgers and potato salad, and they are ALL sound asleep.
Tomarrow is Justin's last day off, he switched crews again. So he only got today and tomarrow to rest and get things done. He just finished working 118 hours in 9days. So he is in need of some R&R. Wed we head up to Cd'A for a doctor appt and to get a tune up on the ol' passatt. And then it's back to L-town to get ready for crop on Sat and my grandparents will be here to "check out the new offspring". So it's a busy week ahead. Thinking about everything I need to do, I'm wondering why I'm not taking a late nap with my family.
